About IdahoMesh
Idaho's community-built text messaging network.
IdahoMesh is Idaho's community-built text messaging network. It keeps working when the internet and cell service don't.
The network runs on MeshCore. You carry a small LoRa radio paired with your phone, and messages hop from radio to radio across repeaters on hills, towers and rooftops. No accounts and no monthly fees.
It started in Southwest Idaho on January 1, 2026, with the first mountaintop repeater. Volunteers have since put up repeaters across the state.
All mesh welcome
Our network runs on MeshCore, but our community is bigger than one platform. Meshtastic users are welcome, and plenty of us run both. See our Meshtastic page and the Meshtastic channel on Discord.
